PRNA rep development program is aimed at allowing you to train at a higher level, continue your progression as a player, and gain mateship with potential team mates from other clubs within our Association.  The program itself focuses on basic skills: footwork and specialist positions such as defence, centre court and shooting skills.  Players may experience playing different positions to discover further knowledge of the netball game.  For the older players, intensity and complexity is increased to ensure maximum benefit to all players.

Phase 1:-  4th, 11th & 18th October – Development – all ages including 16 years

Following the compulsory representative development phase, the selection phases commence.  Coaches will work with players ensuring advanced skill sets are delivered, players are placed in game formation catering the two positions selected and final selections will be made.  The two nominated positions are for selection purposes only, and selectors and coaches may alter the nominated positions to ensure the best possible team combination.  After each phase, player numbers will be reduced to finally achieve a representative age squad.  PRNA reserves the right to include players from outside Associations who may transfer into the Association after these phases.

2016 Winter warmth donation day

This Saturday 23rd is “winter warmth donation day”.

As most will be aware PRNA has supported Lifeline by providing the homeless each year with blankets, jumpers, gloves, scarves or beanies. We would like to continue this tradition again this year and everyone can help.

Please bring along to the Umpires table any spare blankets big or small, clean 2nd hand jumpers you or the kids have grown out of, gloves, scarves or beanies. We will arrange for Lifeline to pick up these generous donations on the day. Your thoughtfulness will bring warmth and a smile to person in need.
